What should I wear?

  • At SHSMUN all delegates should wear Western Business attire. This would mean button-downs, slacks, blouses, dresses, skirts, blazers, and nice shoes. All skirts and dresses must be an appropriate length. If you are unsure of any attire, please reach out to your advisor, club leader, or a Staff member.

What is parliamentary procedure?

  • Parliamentary procedure (parli pro) is the manner in which committee is conducted at SHSMUN to ensure organized debate and solutions. If you are unsure how to go about this process, please watch the videos linked here. A guide to parliamentary procedure is also available here.

I am an out-of-town officer. What are some good places to eat at while my school is staying in Chattanooga?

  • Chattanooga has a wide variety of options that are located close to the conference. There is City Café, Community Pie, Chilis, Urban Stack, Panera, Mayan Kitchen, Lupis, Jimmy Johns, and a Starbucks in the hotel lobby.
