The UNDP committee room was humming with activity from the start. The delegates were set up in a horseshoe fashion, perfect for the involved debate that took place, all led by chair Alisha Pershad. The committee moved quickly, moving on to topic B in only the second session. The questioning of the resolutions was continuous, and the delegates that spoke were prepared. The resolutions heard from many countries with opposing viewpoints, such as the United Kingdom, Costa Rica, and Mexico, all inquiring about topics such as protocol for natural disasters, and the effects of agricultural development. The session went into a caucus to allow all countries to band together and compose solutions with each other’s support. The compiled resolutions looked to be lead by strong countries with strong ideas, and were each debated thoroughly.
