The Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee was in the middle of debating the topic of surrogacy. The overall consensus was deterring surrogacy, of which the Croatian delegate claimed adoption a feasible alternative to surrogacy. The other delegates had trouble understanding the link between surrogacy and adoption. The delegate explained that the option to get an adoption would not only help the problem of overpopulation but also give an alternative. Most of the delegates were satisfied with the resolutions.
